following:
Reconditioning the feed rollers, removing oils/ink
from registration strip, re-lubricating the carriage
rod, removing excess ink from paper path, bottom of
carriage and service station, verifying print quality,
and providing customer with a report of printer
condition.
 Okidata Dot Matrix printer maintenance includes the following:
Cleaning and re-lubricating carriage, verify condition of
printhead, cleaning the paper path, checking printer for all
possible paper pull options, verifying print quality, and
providing customer with a report of printer condition. |
Printers
are prone to a lot more wear and tear than other
computer equipment. Paper dust and other build-up can
result in poor print quality and will often lead to
more serious problems. Pick-up rollers wear over time
leading to annoying paper jams. We strongly advocate
regular preventative maintenance to help maintain
excellent output quality and reduce the possibility of
expensive repairs.
