Computer Solutions continues our WorkSmart
series in June with two more events.
Our first
event will be held on June 10th. The content
of this seminar is centered on several of
Microsoft’s latest technologies, including
Windows Server 2008, SQL 2008, and Visual
Studio 2008. These technologies will give
your business the competitive edge it needs
by helping you create a highly secure,
reliable, and easy to manage platform for
hosting and developing connected
applications. It will be set up as a Lunch
and Learn, with the seminar and lunch
starting at 11:30am, at our office.
In late June
we will hold a Business Continuity seminar
off site, including three facets: the
insurance needed, the Business Disaster
Plan, and finally, replacing all your
equipment, phone lines access, Internet
access, and even your physical location.
Consider how long it would take to replace
all of your equipment and find new office
space, and then come to find our you can
accomplish this all within 48 hours of the
disaster. We can help you accomplish this by
setting up a mobile office with all the
needed equipment and services you need until
a permanent facility can be completed. You
may choose to attend the 10:00 or 2:00
session. Location and date will be announced
soon.

Connect People, Information & Processes
With a SharePoint Starter Site
By Jane Cage, HTS COO
Everyone can agree – there is not a
business around that wouldn’t benefit from better processes and shared
information. SharePoint, a Microsoft product designed for networks running
Windows Server, is a web-based application that enables anywhere-access for
individuals or groups who are working together on projects. Team members can
share files, calendars, contacts and secure information through a browser
anywhere they have web access. Read below for answers to some of the basic
questions surrounding this great application.
“How could YOU use SharePoint?”
Get a basic SharePoint Starter Site in place and your people can immediately
begin to develop their own workspace, invite peers together around projects,
locate information, access and collaborate. They can search documents by various
attributes ranging from name, author to even content-- across your network. Most
importantly, they can do this from a coffee shop, from home or anywhere there is
internet access.

How to 'Undo' a Big Mistake in Windows
by Kim Komando
Reprinted with permission from the Microsoft Small Business Center
| |
|
| It used to be, back in
that last century, that people wished for a reverse time machine.
This would allow them to go back in time after they messed up their
computer. Well, Windows XP has that time machine. And when some
awful thing gives your computer the staggers, it's easy to go back
to the day before.
|
 |
Or the
day before that. Or last week or last month.
It's
an all-too-often unused feature that may save your bacon someday, called System
Restore.
Here are four things to know
about it.

Meet the
Dynamic
ATT Team
Dynamic
has a dedicated ATT Solution Provider team ready to
help with any telecommunication needs you have. And
the best part of this team – they work for you
providing the best personal service, without charge.
Bonnie Head, Jay Ives
and Kathy Payne have a total of 71 years of service
with ATT. They now work for
Dynamic
but retain many ATT contacts that increase the
team’s effectiveness as your representative dealing
with ATT.
Bonnie spent her entire
ATT career as a business service rep and consultant.
There is no issue she has not seen and is ready to
offer her assistance to order business services,
review your bill, or place a repair ticket.
As an account
executive, Jay became an expert at helping customers
find the right ATT solution for their business
needs. At
Dynamic,
he continues to utilize that knowledge, making sure
the ATT service best fits the customer’s needs and
equipment.
Kathy is the newest
member of the
Dynamic
team and is a great understudy to Bonnie.
She prepares customer proposals after detailed
reviews of local and long distance billing. Most of
her career was in equipment engineering and she
brings a different perspective to the team.
