Since 1968,
Sonoma's Infineon Raceway has served as Northern
California's premier motor sports destination. Highlighted
by the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, NHRA Drag Racing and the
IndyCar® Series, the busy facility has events scheduled for
340 days and 50 weekends per year. Infineon Raceway is the
only track in the country to host every major form of racing
in the United States.
In addition to
action on the 12-turn, 2.52-mile road course and
quarter-mile drag strip, Infineon Raceway is also home to a
70-tenant motor-sports industrial park, which houses
businesses ranging from race teams to body shops to vintage
car restoration. The raceway facility also houses a café,
souvenir store, deluxe karting facility and the Jim Russell
Racing Drivers School.
Speedway
Children’s Charities, the charitable arm of Infineon
Raceway, is dedicated to raising money for youth
organizations in Sonoma County. Since 2002, the charity has
distributed more than $2.6 million to more than 150
qualified groups.

Welcome
A great time at Infineon Raceway.
Thank
you to all who attended our recent Infineon Raceway
social event. You truly made it an enjoyable
afternoon for all of us at PlanIT Solutions. We
would like to give a special thank you to our
partner, Infineon Raceway, for allowing us to host a
suite for their exciting AMA Superbike Showdown.
A great time was had by all as we watched high speed
motorcycle chases from an amazing vantage point.
Infineon’s luxury suites come complete with
panoramic views of the North Bay, great food, and
air conditioning on hot racing days. We eagerly look
forward to next year’s races.
Please check out Infineon’s web site at
www.infineonraceway.com for their complete
summer events schedule, including NASCAR, NHRA, and
Indy Grand Prix racing.

Cloud Computing - Driving the bottom line
How
business executives leverage the cloud for competitive advantages
Cloud Computing is the rage; it appears to be a hot new IT
solution driven by desires for smart and efficient technologies
created to improve productivity and decrease costs. We read about it
on the Intet and in nernewspapers and magazines, but what is Cloud
Computing beyond just another confusing technology.
There are many questions around Cloud Computing. Should we embrace
it or should we be wary? How does it really work? What are the
business benefits? What are the savings?? What are the risks? What
are the costs?
However, there are at least two certainties: first - Cloud Computing
has already arrived in many different forms and second - Cloud
Computing will continue to grow in relevance as it is adopted by
more and more businesses.
Please join us July 8th or July 9th for the next topic in our
Lunch and Learn series: Cloud Computing – Driving the bottom
line. We will help you answer questions about Cloud Computing
and why it may, or may not, be the right solution for your business.

Employee Spotlight
– Joel Asaro
Our
June spotlight focuses on Joel Asaro. Although only on board with
PlanIT for a year, Joel has leveraged his diversified technical
background and his strong interpersonal skills to become a PlanIT
Solutions Leadership Award recipient and an integral part of our
support team.
As a technical leader, he has recently taken the
initiative to become our resident Share Point expert, an area we
believe will be of great value to our clients. As a team leader, Joel
believes we should do everything in our power to make every client’s
experience a positive experience. As a result, clients simply enjoy
working with him. We constantly hear that Joel is extremely
efficient at troubleshooting and resolving issues. The great part is
that we also hear that he has a good sense of humor and is patient
in understanding the concerns at hand. All of us at PlanIT are glad
to have Joel Asaro on our team. |
