Welcome,

Lately I keep hearing a commercial about the truly amazing “productivity patch”, very similar to the “Easy Button”. While it is obviously a spoof to set up a commercial about a real product, I keep thinking that there is there something serious to what is being said in humor. Let’s face it, productivity is always important but today maximum productivity is essential. During these challenging economic times there are still opportunities, but we all need to get the most out of our resources.

We need workstations and laptops to start up smoothly and run quickly. We need Wireless devices to be in sync with our networks, and those networks to deliver information in a reliable, accurate and timely manner. We need Voice systems to seamlessly transfer customers, provide great voice quality, be flexible for different end users, and to work anywhere. We need sales people to be able to easily enter and retrieve data while learning about their customer’s history and needs.

We need all of these things and more. As clichéd as it sounds, we could all use a real productivity patch. While we are reluctant to change the name of the seminar to “The Productivity Patch” there is value in this truism. For this reason our seminar is focused on productivity rather than one individual service or offering. While each area that we will cover offers stand alone enhancements to productivity, when combined there is certainly a synergy.

Please take the time out of your busy schedules to join us for a demonstration on how Managed Services, VOiP Technology and CRM can improve the productivity in your business as they have done in ours.

Thank you,

Business Continuity: Business as usual.
No matter what.

Five steps every business should take to prepare for a business interruption.

When people think of disasters, they generally envision hurricanes, tornados or floods - catastrophic events that devastate communities. But for a business, a disaster can be something as small as a failed switch or computer virus. These seemingly minor events can have a shocking impact on a business, often bringing operations to a standstill.

Creating a basic, executable business continuity plan is one of the most important steps you can take to protect your organization and assure business as usual – no matter what the scenario. Below are five key steps to help you get started.

7 Instant Messaging Rules for the Workplace
reprinted with permission from the HP Small and Medium Business Website

Because of its efficiency and speed, instant messaging, or IM for short, has become a valuable interoffice tool for employees to exchange information and collaborate in real time.

The advantages of IM are clear. But there are drawbacks too. IM can be distracting; employees can waste time using it for personal conversations; and IM technology is often not secure, leaving corporate networks more vulnerable to viruses and attacks. And because of the informal nature of IM, it can sometimes lead to embarrassing or serious mistakes.

By following these seven rules for appropriate IM use, you can avoid common pitfalls and make the most out of this effective and convenient communications tool.
