Why you need a Warranty Service Contract

As the price of computers and peripherals continue to decline, the coverage in the manufacturers’ warranty has also fallen at a steady pace. While different manufacturers' warranties may vary, they all follow basic rules. Many manufacturers' warranties do not cover travel costs or even labor. Many add-on products such as modems, sound cards and networking products only have replacement warranty with all labor and shipping paid by the user. Manufacturers' warranties do not offer guarantees of response time, resolution time or loaners. They also reserve the right to replace or repair your product. You might not get back the same item that was sent in.
